Bead Embroidery Heart with Tracey Levandoski + Artisan's Workshop - 4/17/21 Class Sign Up
Saturday, April 17th, 2021; 11am - 4pm (w/ hour break for lunch)
Join us for a day of bead embroidery with Tracey Levandoski who designed this pendant exclusively for The Beaded Peacock. This pendant / brooch features a beautiful handmade lampwork heart cabochon, created by The Artisan's Workshop / Sue Wade of Griffith, IN.
This project is suitable for beginners with a knowledge of back stitching and brick stitch edge stitching (aka sunshine edge) techniques used in bead embroidery as well as peyote bead weaving for the bezel. We will be transitioning from peyote to netting which creates the ruffled frame (which is optional). Make this project your own. Project is suitable for brooch or pendant, chain and frame are optional. Add as much or as little as you'd like!
After sign up, students will select a color combination for their glass lampwork cabochon and Sue Wade will create their pendant to order.
Cost $85, includes class fee, instructions, and heart cabochon made by Sue ($22). Additional supply list will be provided at sign-up.
Students should be familiar with the elements of basic bead embroidery as listed above. Please note, your project may not be completed in class, but Tracey will provide instruction during class as well as detailed photo instructions needed to complete your final product.
